Jaime works as a reporter for the 680News morning show and claims to have the
bedtime of a six-year-old.
She started out as a ballet dancer, but a sudden knee injury quickly made her
rethink her career plans.
She attended the University of Western Ontario and then went into the
broadcast journalism school at Fanshawe College in London.
Jaime has worked in Chatham and Kitchener, and moved to Toronto in 2004. She
describes her time at 680News as "life changing." Jaime was one of the first
reporters on the scene of an 83-vehicle pile up on the 401 near Windsor in 1999
and says other memorable stories include: 9-11, the 2003 blackout, the aftermath
of the Canadian World Cup of Hockey win in Toronto and the death and succession
of Pope John Paul II.
Jaime enjoys travelling, reading, horror flicks and her very cute, but
not-so-intelligent rescued Beagle.
Words she uses to describe herself are "growing" and "thankful."
