She initially interned at Canada's number one news radio station and was hired out of her internship. Jackie also works on the 680News website by updating it with the latest stories. She has worked some important shifts, including the day of Benazir Bhutto's death.

Jackie has also interned at E-talk, MTV, Lenz Entertainment and Rogers Television. Jackie wants to eventually get into writing for television and radio and also work in the film industry.
