Hi, I'm Andrew Nie. I was born in Peterborough, Ont., home of the Petes, and
coincidentally the NHL's best producer of great hockey players.
Peterborough also boasts the highest hydraulic lift lock in the world, which
was built in 1904 on the Trent-Severn waterway.
Not everyone is fortunate to have lived in such a great city, so I feel for
you. I grew up, really, in Bridgenorth, Ont., which is about 10 minutes north of
Peterborough.
I feel very blessed to be a sportscaster because I simply love talking about
sports. I have been behind the mic since 2000, spending time in Kitchener,
London and Toronto.
