She's been with the FAN since 1991 and joined the Rogers family when the FAN moved to the Rogers Campus in 2002.

She's been a life-long (and long-suffering) Maple Leaf fan and has developed into a big fan of football, both CFL and NFL. Away from the sports world, Barb and her husband have two sons and enjoy living in their 'cottage in the city' in East York.

Barb does a lot of MC work for charity events, and counts Sick Kids' Foundation among her favourites. She also works with Toronto East General Hospital, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and is a host on the Easter Seals Telethon every year.
