A surprising new poll shows Canadians are falling more and more in love with the New Democratic Party, and it appears as if nothing can stop the NDP freight train.
Since the start of the campaign the NDP have doubled their numbers.
Political Scientist Lori Williams told 680News that they have been able to do that by stealing support from all of the other parties.
"Usually from the Bloc in Quebec, they are also making gains against Conservatives in critical areas like British Columbia," said Williams.
The poll is one of the most accurate in this campaign with 3,000 people taking part.
EKOS research study has also done a seat projection, and it said the Conservatives would get a diminished minority, with 131 MP's.
It indicated that the NDP would get 100 seats, the Liberals would have 62 and the Bloc just 14.
Williams told 680News that, with all the coalition talk, which would give the Grits and NDP a majority, without the help of the Bloc.
"This explains why there have been so many attack ads against Jack Layton in the last week."
"The Conservatives were obviously seeing numbers like this and were worried about the effect it might have," said Williams.
