After a week of silence, Mayor Rob Ford spoke officially about drug-use allegations against him.
Ford’s statement came after members of his executive committee released a letter that urgedhim to speak formally.

According to En-Pro, gas prices are not expected to change on May 25, remaining at an average price of 128.0 cents/litre at most GTA gas stations.

3 people rescued after collapse of Wash. state bridge; no deaths reported
MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – A section of the Interstate 5 bridge over a river collapsed north of Seattle yesterday evening, dumping two vehicles into the water. Three people were rescued. No deaths have been reported.

Teens missing on Bruce Peninsula found safe
Fifteen teens from Waterloo Region who went missing on a school hiking trip have been found safe.
The Ontario Provincial Police said the teens were located near a cabin by the Bruce Trail just before 6 a.m. Friday.
