Jennifer Young
TV and Radio Traffic Reporter, Afternoon
I started my career as an actress. After graduating from the Mississauga School of the Arts I moved from the stage to behind a microphone and in front of the camera and never looked back.
I spent the early part of my career as an announcer spinning records and rolling reel-to-reel machines of music -- truly! I have worked in Oakville, Hamilton, Ottawa and Toronto.
I have been a part of the Rogers Broadcasting family for a very long time. Along with working in radio, in 1990 I began hosting and reporting in various news, entertainment and lifestyle shows on Rogers Community 10.
Every woman's love -- shopping -- lead me to become a product demonstrator for The Shopping Network, and I had the privilege of being able to work in Minneapolis at Value Vision and in Philadelphia at QVC. 680News has been my home now since 1999.
Jennifer has worn many hats from newscaster, reporter, health reporter, announcer on 98.1 CHFI and traffic reporter.
She is married and has two beautiful children and loving every minute of it!
