Russ Holden

Airborne Traffic Reporter

Russ Holden has been a member of the Rogers family for many years, having joined CHFI in the operations department in 1967.

After ten years of commercial and program production including numerous commercial awards, he took to the sky as an airborne traffic reporter.

He continues to fly daily as well as covering summertime cottage country traffic from the sky.

Russ also loves to teach and after 21 years at Ryerson University is currently a professor at Seneca College's school of communication arts.

As well as a passion for flying (he is a commercial multi-instrument rated pilot), Russ also plays classical violin, enjoys golf, model railroading and is, appropriately enough, a ham radio operator VA3 RUS.

Not just a pretty voice, Russ has also done some work in television on Rogers Cable with two shows, Swap Shop and Auto Talk.
