I have been kicking around radio since Marconi and have spent most of my years in Toronto. The longest stretch was at CFNY, back when it was The Spirit of Radio where I worked for four different owners and seven morning shows, including Pete and Geets.
I have hosted call-in shows, interview shows, even backsold a tune or two, but my love is doing the news. I enjoy scouring the internet for the latest and quirkiest.
I also love trying to put all these bits of data into some kind of context and trying to make some sense of the universe. Not easy in this information-crazed, text messaging, online blogging world, but then nothing worthwhile is ever easy. It's challenging, unrelenting and a heck of a lot of fun.
I also love a chance to interact with the morning show anchors on CHFI and provide them with interesting tidbits to share with our audience.
I share my boundless curiosity with my husband and our dog.
