Paul Cook is co-anchor of the morning show and the managing editor of 680News. He has anchored the morning drive shift since 1997 and has been a full-time member of the Rogers radio family since 1985. He is on the air each weekday morning from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

I have been kicking around radio since Marconi and have spent most of my years in Toronto. The longest stretch was at CFNY, back when it was The Spirit of Radio where I worked for four different owners and seven morning shows, including Pete and Geets.

"Ann Doose joined the 680News team in 1999 after cutting her teeth as an award-winning anchor and reporter in such cities as London, for CKSL and Q97.5 FM, and in Barrie for CKBB.

"I admit it, I'm a news junkie", says 680News anchor, Brian Fysher. "My wife often tells people that before we can even book a vacation, we have to check to see that the hotel has CNN!"

I joined the station shortly after it went on the air in the summer of 1993 and moved to the morning show the following summer. My background is in public affairs and politics, but my particular interest is in health stories.

I started here in Toronto in 1969 at what was then called "career academy." One of my instructors was Bud Binny, who worked at CHFI.

Some people may say Laura was born in this business! She is the youngest of three children in a family of performers. She is the daughter of a Juno-nominee and pirate radio disc jockey, and grew up on a 40-acre horse farm north of Toronto.

Georgia Balogiannis joined the 680News team as an anchor in October 2006. Having worked for several years as a reporter and editor for the Metroland chain of newspapers in Toronto and then as the chief assignment producer for the Barrie-based television news station The New VR, it seemed fitting that she would expand her repertoire to include radio.

A born and bred Torontonian, I have been working in Toronto radio since the late 1970s. After a brief stint in Barrie, I returned to the city to be part of the inaugural on-air crew at Q107 and then I moved to CHUM FM and 1050 CHUM for many years.

Jonn Kares is a seasoned news broadcaster, who also has a comprehensive background in business, media production and design, including many years in architecture and professional sales and marketing.

Jack Roe is a veteran radio broadcaster, having begun his career working all-nights while a university undergraduate in the mid-1970s. He spent 25 years with the CHUM Group stations (CKPT-AM and Country 105-FM) in Peterborough, serving stints as both program director and news director of both stations.

I don't remember a day that radio hasn't been part of my life, but if I had to give the start of my career in radio broadcasting a more specific date it would be June 1997. That was the year I officially began operating multi-lingual programming at CHIN Radio/TV International.

Barbara Tylbor graduated from Concordia University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and started her radio career as the morning traffic reporter for CJAD and FM96, in Montreal.

It is my responsibility to compile the morning newscasts, making sure they provide listeners with the most updated and pertinent news and information they expect.

Grace Park-Kirton considers herself an information junkie. She thrives on the adrenaline rush of breaking news and considers her job at 680News as an ideal career

Alicia Meahan is the weekend news editor and an audio editor at 680News.

Con Stevenson has been associated with 680News since 1994 as a news editor, anchor and business editor. He has worked in several Canadian markets in three provinces, involving a variety of roles including: news anchor, talk show host and general manager.

Charlene is an award-winning reporter who joined 680News as the '905 reporter' in November 2005 and is thrilled to be sharing the stories of 905-ers in Durham, York, Peel and Halton Regions.

Colin's been working in the radio industry since late 2005 and got his start out east. He was one of a handful of people who started up three all-news Rogers radio stations in Moncton, NB, Saint John, NB, and Halifax, NS.

I'm Carl Hanstke, morning reporter for 680News. I arrived at 680News in 1999 and have proudly watched the station rise to become the number one radio news operation in the country.

Born and raised in Mississauga, Shauna always had a knack for talking and asking the question "why" -- making journalism a natural career choice. Shauna studied broadcast journalism at Fanshawe College in London, where she says she was bitten by "the bug."

Jennifer Macdonald is the senior writer for the 680News morning show. She was hired for this position in November 2006 after returning from a one-year stint in Halifax, where she co-anchored the morning show on NEWS 95.7 -- one of 680’s three sister stations in the Maritimes.

Kevin is a 680News "jack of all trades." When he's not hitting the streets as a reporter, he routinely fills in at the editor's desk or as an anchor. Born in Simcoe, Ont., Kevin spent his early years in radio with stops in Oakville, Newmarket, Orangeville and Brantford before coming to 680News in 1998.

James Munroe is a 680News original member, joining the station just before it launched the all-news format in the spring of 1993. Since joining the staff he has spent his years as a sportscaster, news anchor, and even a pop culture reporter.

Jaime works as a reporter for the 680News morning show and claims to have the bedtime of a six-year-old.

She started out as a ballet dancer, but a sudden knee injury quickly made her rethink her career plans.

Neil Kumar is an audio editor and has been with 680News since the spring of 2001. Neil also routinely fills in as a news anchor and reporter.

I have been a part of the 680News team since 2005, first as an intern and now as an audio editor. It's been a great experience to be a part of this organization, where I get to work with and learn from the best people in the business.

Sarah Bertrand graduated from Seneca College's radio broadcasting program in April 2005 and has been audio editing at 680News since 2007.

Judy Freedman graduated from Seneca College in June 2007 where she earned her broadcast journalism diploma with honours. Throughout the next few months, she eagerly applied to many Toronto-area radio and television stations.

Jackie Marculescu graduated from Seneca college's broadcast journalism program in April 2008 and has been audio editing at 680News since 2007.

Ashley Redmond is just entering the exciting world of journalism. She graduates from Humber College in spring 2008. Born and raised in Hamilton, Ont., she currently calls Toronto home.

Born and raised in the coldest place in the world, yes, colder than the North Pole...Winnipeg, Man. Mike spent the first 16 years of his life on the Prairies in Winnipeg and Calgary, before moving east to Ontario in 1992.

I've wanted to be in the broadcasting industry ever since my high school days. I listened to 680News all the time and made it my goal to someday work at the station, though I never thought I would actually live up to that goal.
