James Munroe

James Munroe is a 680News original member, joining the station just before it launched the all-news format in the spring of 1993. Since joining the staff he has spent his years as a sportscaster, news anchor, and even a pop culture reporter.
Since 2000, he has been in the business department, working as both a markets editor and reporter.
He started in radio at CKEN in Kentville, N.S. in 1989 as a disc jockey and has also worked at Q104 in Halifax/Dartmouth. In between, he graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in radio and television. He lives in the Beaches with his wife and daughter.
