Authorities in Indonesia have said they are preparing for the possibility of thousands of deaths in the wake of a powerful earthquake.

The death toll from floods in the northern Philippines keeps rising, as victims queued up for aid and Typhoon Ketsana roared into Vietnam.

Rogers Wireless customers can also donate $5 to the Canadian Red Cross International Disaster Relief Fund by texting the word "HELP" to shortcode "733."

Rogers will match the donations up to $20, 000.
