In the aftermath of the disasters in both Myanmar and China, different aid agencies are working to assist those in need. To donate to the aid effort, go to any of the following links to offer your help.

Toronto-based Global Medic will be sending a four-member team to Myanmar to assist in the aid effort. The team will be taking 20 water purification units, which will supply clean drinking water to 20,000 people a day, and $1 million worth of antibiotics for its field hospital.

Doctors without Borders is running clinics in Myanmar, along with distributing food and plastic sheeting and water chlorination. They are also distributing food, water, and other necessary items for thousands of people.

Donating to World Vision will assist them in their care of vulnerable children in Myanmar. The organization has already provided 10,000 kg of rice and 7,000 litres of water, along with other critical items.

People can donate in a number of ways to the Red Cross, who is distributing life-saving items and emergency relief supplies.
