Driver charged in fatal hit-and-run at Danforth and St. Clair

Toronto police say one man has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a motorcyclist.

Police were called to the scene at Danforth Road and St. Clair Avenue East around 6 a.m. on June 14.

The motorcycle was going west on St. Clair when it collided with a car turning left onto Danforth.

The 55-year-old rider had critical injuries and died at the scene.

Khaled Saleh Saeed Bin Rbaa, 29, of Toronto was arrested on Thursday and is facing one charge of criminal negligence causing death and fail to stop after accident causing death.

The vehicle related to the collision has also been recovered.

He appeared in court on Friday.
