OPP release footage of driver wanted after cyclist struck in Mississauga

Provincial police are searching for a driver wanted in connection with a cyclist being struck on the on-ramp to the Queen Elizabeth Way from Hurontario Street in Mississauga.
OPP say at around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, a car was making a right turn from South Service Road onto the QEW on-ramp when it struck a female cyclist who was attempting to cross the ramp.
Dash-cam video shows the cyclist violently thrown due to the impact of the crash. The driver slows and stops momentarily before continuing eastbound onto the highway.
The cyclist was left bleeding and suffered only minor injuries, according to police.
Police are searching for a 2015 to 2018 silver VW Golf four-door.
