The co-owner of a tanning salon in Mississauga is accused of sexually assaulting two of his customers.
A 23-year-old woman said she was sexually assaulted on June 12, 2016, during a tanning session at Tanned Bodies, a salon on Confederation Parkway near Dundas Street West. She left the building and reported the incident to police.
Officers said another woman, 29, came forward last week and said she was sexually assaulted at the same salon around noon on April 10.
On Thursday, police arrested the salon’s 44-year-old co-owner, Gary Edwards of Toronto, and charged him with two counts of sexual assault.
He was held for a bail hearing in Brampton on Thursday.
Police believe there may be more victims.
