Security images released of suspect in Pickering GO station stabbing

Police have released security images of a suspect nearly six weeks after a teenager was stabbed at the Pickering GO Station.

On the morning of Feb. 21, a 17-year-old boy was riding a Durham Regional Transit bus when he was stabbed.

The boy was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

The canine unit was called to the scene to assist in the search for the suspect.

Police collected security images from the scene and have released three photos of the man they believe to be the suspect.

The suspect is described as male, black, between 19 to 20 years old, about five-feet-seven to five-feet-eight-inches tall, with a skinny build and short dreads. He was last seen wearing a camouflage bandana, dark blue coat and jeans.

Police say they are hoping that members of the public can assist with identifying the suspect.
