Mapped: GTHA athletes at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics

The 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games kicked off on Friday. Ice dance stars Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir led the Canadian delegation into the ceremony, taking turns carrying the flag.

According to Team Canada, 225 athletes are taking part — its largest-ever delegation for a Winter Games — and 68 of them are from Ontario. There are 36 athletes from the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). Below is a breakdown of the competitors from the GTHA and links to their profiles.
