1 injured in King and Bathurst area shooting

One man is being treated in hospital after an early-morning shooting on King Street, just east of Bathurst Street.
It happened around 3 a.m. on Thursday.
Police were called to the scene after reports of shots being fired after some sort of altercation.
It was reported that two groups of men were fighting in an alley and two gunshots were heard. Several men were then seen fleeing the area.
Police said the victim made his way to a trauma centre with the help of another man. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
It’s believed the suspect fled the scene in a white car.
