2 men arrested, accused of forcing woman into prostitution

Toronto police have arrested two men in connection with a human trafficking investigation.
Police say on Oct. 2, a 26-year-old woman met two men who forced her into prostitution in several cities over a five-day span.
The two men also allegedly sexually assaulted the woman during that time.
She told police the men threatened to kill her, took away her identification and refused to give her food or money.
The woman managed to escape on Oct. 6 and contacted police.
On Saturday, police arrested 26-year-old, Whitby man, Tshibangu Kazadi, also known as Yannick Kazadi, and 25-year-old Marc-Etienne Fortin from Quebec City.
Kazadi was charged with 11 offences including trafficking, uttering threats, assault and forcible confinement. Fortin was charged with 13 offences, including trafficking, assault with a weapon, two counts of uttering threats, and forcible confinement. They both appeared in court on Sunday.
The suspects are known to frequent Toronto, Oshawa, Burlington, Hamilton and Niagara Falls, and police believe there may be more victims.
