One person seriously injured in small plane crash in Caledon

One person has been seriously injured after a small plane hit a tree, then crashed near McLaughlin Road and King Street in Caledon.
Four people were on board as the Cessna 172P plane was trying to land at the Brampton Flight Centre and Flying Club, according to Caledon OPP.
One person was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and the three others were taken to hospital as a precaution.
McLaughlin Road was closed between King Street and Old School Road for approximately two hours crews worked to remove the plane and debris from the roadway.
Transport Canada has been called in to investigate.
