Man sought after girl sexually assaulted in west end: police

Police have released a composite sketch of a man accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl on the evening of Sept. 1.

The girl said she was walking near St. Clair Avenue West and Atlas Avenue, near Christie Street, when she was approached by a strange man.

He allegedly guided her to a secluded area near a park and sexually assaulted her.

The man reportedly fled when the incident was interrupted.

He is described as being 30 to 40 years old, six feet tall, with a full scruffy beard and blue eyes. He was wearing a dark, long-sleeved shirt, jogging pants and white running shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
