The vastly different way Trump and Trudeau are portrayed in the media

By News Staff

They are both the leaders of their respective nations, but how Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and U.S. President Donald Trump are portrayed in the media is vastly different.

Both men have graced the covers of numerous magazines, including Rolling Stone, where Trump’s stern glare is markedly contrasted by Trudeau’s approachable, relaxed pose.

The differences are even more evident in other publications, with Trump often portrayed in a mocking fashion as a stormy bully (complete with a Hitler mustache in one instance; see below), while depictions of Trudeau emphasize his good looks and considerable charm on the world stage.

Here’s a look at how the two world leaders have been portrayed on the covers of various magazines.
