Security video released of suspect wanted in Annex sex assault

Toronto police have released security footage of a suspect after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted while walking in the Annex on Monday.

Just before 6 a.m. police were called to the area of Bloor and Robert streets, just west of Spadina Avenue.

The 25-year-old woman told police she was walking on the north side of Bloor approaching Robert when she was approached from behind by a man and sexually assaulted.

The suspect fled on foot heading east on Bloor.

The man is described as between 25 and 35 years of age, five-foot-five with a thin build, black hair, and a beard. He was last seen wearing a white zip-up sweater with black striping, tan pants and black shoes.
