Peel police have identified the three people who were killed in a crash in Mississauga late on Sunday night.
A Mazda and a Mercedes collided on Winston Churchill Boulevard, between the QEW and North Service Road, just before 11 p.m. Police believe the Maza was travelling south when the driver crossed the centre median and collided head-on with the northbound Mercedes.
Canville Roberts, a 40-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was driving the Mazda.
Two passengers in the Mercedes, both children, were killed. Ayon Brown, a five-year-old boy, and Keziah Edwards-Young, a 13-year-old boy, died later in hospital.
The driver of the Mercedes, 24-year-old Camall Brown-Williams, was hurt in the crash, but is expected to survive.
Lakeisha Edwards-Smith, 25, a passenger in the Mercedes, remains in hospital in critical condition. She and Keziah Edwards-Young were siblings.
Lakeisha Edwards-Smith’s goddaughter, seven-year-old Jynnai Hartley, was also in the Mercedes. She remains in hospital in stable condition.
Police are asking any witnesses to come forward.
