Tornado warnings were issued for central Ontario, including Toronto, as a series of storms zipped across the region on Saturday night.

Environment Canada issued a warning for Toronto, York and Durham regions shortly before 3:30 p.m. It was called off shortly after 4 p.m.

Large hail, strong wind gusts, and heavy downpours were reported all across the province’s central and southern regions.

Dave Philips and Environment Canada are trying to show that the climate is becoming more severe due to AGW. Unfortunately mother nature has other plans. Actually the weather was much more severe years ago. Anyone remember the 1985 tornado outbreak, when 14 twisters touched down in Ontario in a single day and Hurricane Hazel when 81 people died and there was much worse flooding than we had ever seen. They would like us to forget those ones.
