Suspected drunk driver arrested after crashing car into North York home

A woman is accused of drunk driving after a car crashed through a fence and into a home in North York.

It happened at the corner of Chelmsford Avenue and Moore Park, near Steeles Avenue and Bathurst Street, just before 2:30 a.m. on Friday.

It appears the vehicle was heading southbound when the driver lost control.

The two women in the car were taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police say they both appeared intoxicated.

One of the women, the driver, believed to be around 19-20 years old, was arrested and is charged with impaired driving.
