Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a Brampton-area woman.
Police issued a missing person’s report for 35-year-old Beata Paciorek on Friday. They say she was headed to the Sudbury area in a rental truck along with two other individuals when she was last seen.
Police say based on witness testimony, Paciorek was murdered somewhere along the way between Brampton and Sudbury following a roadside altercation.
On Saturday, 28-year-old Mike Madill and 37-year-old Amy Macdonald were arrested in Sault Ste. Marie and charged with first degree murder.
Late Sunday night, Peel police confirmed that Paciorek’s body was found in the back of the rented U-haul the trio had been travelling in.
