Police seek witnesses after 3 shot at Woodbridge nightclub

York regional police say more than 100 people were at the scene of a triple shooting out front of a Woodbridge nightclub early Monday that sent three to hospital, one with life-threatening injuries.

In a release, police said the club was busy at the time and they’re asking any witnesses to come forward.

Investigators are also seeking video surveillance, as well as dashcam video from the area around the club at the time of the incident.

The shots were fired out front of the Cameo Lounge on Steeles Avenue near Scholes Road, between Highway 400 and Fenmar Drive, around 3 a.m. on Monday.

A 22-year-old Toronto man was the most seriously injured. He remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Two others, a man and a woman, both aged 26, suffered non life-threatening injuries.

There’s no word yet on suspects or a motive.
