Man run over by car after shots fired in North York

A man was injured when he was run over by a car in North York on Friday.

It happened shortly before 2 p.m. outside a building on Weston Road, near Sheppard Avenue West.

Police said a gun was fired just before the incident.

The man was treated in hospital and released.

Police are investigating.
