Employee chases would-be thief from downtown Rabba, man falls 30 feet

A man is in hospital after falling 30 feet (about nine metres) on Wednesday night.
Toronto police said the 27-year-old man may have been trying to take some lottery tickets from a Rabba Foods near Blue Jays Way and Front Street around 9:50 p.m.
He was chased from the store by an employee. As he ran across Blue Jays Way, he leaped over a railing, and fell.
He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
There’s no word yet on charges.
Police said the lottery tickets were recovered.
