A radio streaming app founded in the UK five years ago has now launched in Canada.
Radioplayer Canada is free and features more than 400 stations, including news, talk, sports and, of course, music.
“With Radioplayer you just have access to all of these amazing radio stations and brands and all of this content,” said Julie Adam, senior VP at Rogers Radio.
“We’ve got catch-up content as well, so if you miss something that happened earlier in the day, you’ll be able to listen to it.”
Stations are searchable and the app makes recommendations based on listening history, geographical location and what’s trending.
The app is available to download on iOS, Android and desktop.
Rogers is the parent company of this website.
