Police searching for 24-year-old wanted in downtown hotel shooting

Toronto police are searching for a 24-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting at a downtown hotel earlier this week.
Officers were called to the Chelsea Hotel around 10 p.m. on Monday following reports of gunshots.
It’s alleged the suspect accidentally fired a gun with one of the bullets striking another man in the chest.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. The victim was taken to hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
Dylan Patriquin of Toronto is facing five charges including careless use of a firearm, aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
Police say he is considered dangerous and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
