Two sought after attempted robbery at Hamilton gas station

Police have released security camera images of two men accused of trying to rob a gas station in Hamilton on Feb. 5.

Around 4:30 a.m., the men walked into the store of the Esso on King Street West, at Dundurn.

It’s alleged one of them was armed and demanded money from the register, and then the other repeated the demand.

They left the store empty-handed.

The first man is described as black with a light complexion and a thin build. He’s in his late teens or early 20s. He was wearing a black mask, black jacket with the hood up, black pants and black shoes.

The second man is described as black with a light complexion and an average build. He’s believed to be in his 20s. He was wearing a green and grey jacket with the collar up, a black mask, a grey hood with a black maple leaf on the left side, blue jeans and tan shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Hamilton police or Crime Stoppers.
