Toronto man caught driving 203 km/h in 60 km/h zone

A 24-year-old man is facing charges and has had his vehicle impounded after a stunt driving incident in the city’s east end.

Toronto police say they clocked an Acura going 203 km/h in a 60 km/h zone on Victoria Park Avenue near McNicoll Avenue around 2:15 a.m. on Monday.

The Toronto man has been charged with stunt driving, speeding 203 km/h in 60 km/h zone and race motor vehicle.

His vehicle has also been impounded for seven days.

The driver is scheduled to appear in court on March 29.
