Eaton Centre assault suspect images released

By News Staff

Police have released security photos of a man involved in an alleged assault of a woman downtown.

The suspect reportedly followed a 26-year-old woman into the Eaton Centre at approximately 6:45 p.m. on December 5, 2016.

Police say he tried entering the same revolving-door compartment with the woman. She then stepped aside to let him pass ahead of her. They were at the south entrance on Queen Street.

That’s when the suspect allegedly kicked and swore at the victim. He then violently pushed her against a wall, with such force that it broke her phone, according to reports.

The man is described as at least 45 years old and approximately five-foot-seven. He has an average build, shoulder-length grey hair, and was wearing a green jacket, dark pants and white running shoes.

Police still believe he is still violent and dangerous. If you spot him, call police immediately.
