Ambulance involved in downtown crash, no patients on board

An ambulance was involved in a crash in downtown Toronto on Monday morning but there were no patients on board at the time.

The ambulance was hit at the intersection of University Avenue and Richmond Street around 12:50 a.m. Two paramedics and the other driver had minor injuries.

The ambulance was not on a call at the time.

There’s no word yet on charges.
