Devin Scullion, the Hamilton man who defied the odds by living with a rare genetic condition longer than any other person, has died.
Scullion suffered from progeria, a condition that causes pre-mature aging. Most children with the disease don’t live past the age of 13.
As a 16-year-old, Scullion and his mother spoke to CityNews reporter Avery Haines back in 2012 about the struggles, and the milestones, thanks to a new drug which was helping him beat the odds.
