Police investigate after shell casings found near Islington and Steeles

Toronto police are investigating after shell casings were found in the city’s east end on Friday.
Police were called to Islington Avenue and Satterly Road, near Steeles Avenue West, around 4 a.m. for reports of gunshots in the area.
Investigators believe a man who showed up at a hospital in Peel Region may be a victim.
There is no word on his condition or any suspects at this time.
