Subway service has resumed on Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) after an injury at track level at Woodbine Station.
The incident happened just before 7 a.m. on Tuesday, shutting down a portion of the line for about an hour-and-a-half.
Subways were not running between Pape and Victoria Park stations, forcing TTC riders to board shuttle buses. At one point, 93 shuttle buses were being used.
A sign posted at Woodbine Station said the station was “expected to be closed for at least another two hours.”
During the closure, the TTC said riders could use the following alternative routes: 62 Mortimer, 87 Cosburn, 8 Broadview, and 506 Carlton from Main Station.
GO Transit said TTC riders could use their tickets at several GO stations.
