Regular GO train service is expected on the Richmond Hill line on Tuesday morning after a pedestrian was struck on Monday night.
The woman was hit by a GO train south of Oriole Station around 7:30 p.m., forcing a service suspension in both directions, Metrolinx confirmed.
In a tweet, GO Transit said the delay was expected to last two hours.
Paramedics tell CityNews they performed CPR on the pedestrian, but she was later pronounced dead.
Her name has not been released.
