Tony-winning play ‘The Humans’ to close in January

By The Associated Press

NEW YORK, N.Y. – “The Humans,” Stephen Karam’s play about a fractious family’s holiday get-together, will soon be clearing its plates. The show will have its last Broadway performance on Jan. 15.

The play was the second most decorated show at the 2016 Tony Awards with four trophies, including best new play. For a time this summer, it was the only non-musical show on offer at any of the 40 Broadway theatres.

A tour will start in Seattle next fall.
