One dead after serious crash on Highway 48 near Stouffville

An 85-year-old man is dead following a fatal collision near Stouffville on Tuesday afternoon.
OPP say around 2 p.m. a small car and a dump truck were involved in a serious crash, either at an intersection or off a private drive on Highway 48 between Bloomington Road and Bethesda Side Road.
The driver of the car was airlifted to a trauma centre where he succumbed to his injuries.
