By News Staff

Toronto police arrested a man they say assaulted someone at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) early on Sunday morning.

Police say they responded to a call at 1:42 a.m. on Sunday for an assault at CAMH, located at Queen Street West and Ossington Avenue.

When police arrived, they found that the security team at CAMH took the suspect to another floor, where police arrested him.

Police have charged Clyde Marsden, 52, with assault.

The victim was taken to the hospital with head injuries.

The police say they can’t identify more details about the suspect or the patient, citing privacy concerns.

A CAMH spokesperson will not confirm any details to CityNews.
