Hamilton police investigate disappearance of woman last seen in 2006

By The Canadian Press

Homicide detectives are investigating the disappearance of a Hamilton woman they say was reported missing nearly nine years after she vanished.

Police say Nuseiba Hasan was 26 when she was last seen by her family in the fall of 2006. She wasn’t reported missing until early last year.

Investigators believe she is the victim of foul play.

Police will be searching a property in the Flamborough area that was previously owned by the Hasan family.

Hasan was approximately five-foot-four with a slim build, brown eyes and black hair.

They are asking anyone who knew Hasan to contact them.
