Missing German Shepherd ‘Charlie’ found

By News Staff

Police say a dog that went missing in Toronto’s east end on Wednesday has been found.

The owner says he left the three-year-old ‘Charlie’, a male pure-bread German Shepherd, tied to a pole outside a grocery store. When he came out, the dog was missing.

Police say the dog was found at a vet hospital on Kingston Road on Saturday afternoon. According the them, whomever brought him in said they thought the animal was in need of some sort of care.

Police say they are still interested in speaking with a man who was caught on surveillance cameras near the dog at the time of the disappearance. He is described as white with long, grey hair in a ponytail. He was wearing a green T-shirt with a large logo in the centre, a dark, zip-up hoodie, blue jeans and a black backpack.
