Man claiming to be ride-sharing driver accused of sexual assault

Toronto police are searching for a man who claimed to be a ride-sharing driver before sexually assaulting a woman in Etobicoke.

Police say the suspect approached a 25-year-old woman in the King Street West and Spadina Avenue area around 2 a.m. on Sunday.

He drove her to Etobicoke, pulled over and allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Police say the man is brown, 35 years old, with short black hair, and was driving a four-door Honda. Police provided a partial licence plate of the vehicle: B–R 787.

Police are concerned there may be other victims.
