Seven people injured after collision in Clarington

Seven people were taken to hospital after a collision in Clarington on Saturday.
Police arrived on scene just before 1 a.m. near Highway 2 and Solina Road.
According to police and witnesses at the scene, a driver was attempting to pass a vehicle but lost control after coming into contact with a black Honda.
Multiple people were ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries.
Six passengers from the silver Honda were taken to hospital. Three of them sustained serious injuries, two people are in stable condition and one is in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A black Honda was located a short distance away and police said all of the occupants inside the vehicle were uninjured.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
