A tour bus accident in Banff National Park has left one woman dead and a man seriously injured and hospitalized in Calgary.

Police say the 53-year-old woman and the 55-year-old man are both from Ontario.

RCMP say the tour bus driver was turning into the Castle Mountain Lookout between Banff and Lake Louise on Wednesday morning when the people were struck.

The two had just got off the bus and were standing in front of it when the bus rolled forward.

Calgary-based Amazing Travel says none of the other 20 passengers were hurt.
