Man charged with assaulting two TTC bus drivers, one police officer

Toronto police have arrested a man who allegedly assaulted two TTC bus drivers and a police officer on Sunday afternoon.

A TTC bus driver was allegedly assaulted by a passenger near Ossington Avenue and Dupont Street around 5:30 p.m.

The suspect then exited that bus, boarded a second at the same intersection, and allegedly assaulted that driver.

He fled that bus and boarded a third bus a short distance away from Ossington Avenue and Dupont Street. He was arrested on the third bus.

During the arrest, he allegedly threatened and assaulted one of the police officers.

Jesse Armitage, 31, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with assault, among other offenses.
