Apple fans rejoice as iPhone 7 goes on sale

By News staff

It’s a big day for Apple as the company’s latest device, the iPhone 7, hit stores on Friday.

Eager customers waited in line for hours outside the Eaton Centre in Toronto, with some lining up since Thursday.

The iPhone 7 features wireless headphones, which means there’s no headphone jack. Smartphones users seem divided over whether or not that update is a good idea.

The phone also has an updated camera and it comes in a few colours including the new jet black. The iPhone 7 sells for about $900.

Supplies of the new iPhones are limited, and most of those who lined up have pre-ordered their phone.
